Pluspunten
Remote work, some great coworkers amongst lower level roles
Minpunten
When I was interviewing everyone gloated about the work life balance. It's nonexistent. The whole place is disorganized causing you to work extra hours very regularly. You will be responsible to answer questions to things you were never trained on. The "training" which was watching old meeting recordings was not very helpful, and they expect you to ask any questions to other team members. Well, with little to no onboarding training, I had a good amount of questions on their systems, and often times the people I asked also didn't have answers! It was a constant pass to the next available person. Only certain people at the company are knowledgeable and those people were often times difficult to reach with so much on their plates already. Sometimes I was told to reach out to someone on their day off, and sometimes my team would reach out to me during my time off, even after setting up an out of office plan. That is not work life balance. Management is very unprofessional, gossip is an everyday thing which negatively affects company culture. Beyond that, I truly felt as though my manager did not want me to see me succeed here. I was expected to know things that were very distinct to Clarion that I would not know if I had not asked, which is why I would ask. I was met with intense frustration from my manager that I felt was unwarranted. It was very difficult to work with someone who jumped down your throat if you didn't do something the way they would have. Meetings were very often moved around last minute, with little regard or respect for my (or others) schedule/workload. Absolutely terrible work environment to come into everyday. It's no wonder so many others gave up. It was a revolving door since I walked in, with so many transitions and team restructures which made it incredibly difficult to excel on any team. I regret accepting this job in the first place, there aren't many concrete learnings to apply to my next role. I've always heard people talk about toxic work environments and how awful they are, but now I've truly experienced it. Very happy to be moving on
