You will learn a lot and the company will help you train and learn new things. Your coworkers and the CTO are fun and like to help you out when needed. I didn't meet anyone at the company I didn't like. You should be able to maintain a pretty good work life balance without micromanagement.

Salary (long term) May need to work long days near releases Not always being acknowledged for your hard work and long days Little to no opportunity for advancement as a developer - other positions offer more advancement Unfortunately, as much as you might like the company, it doesn't generally offer a path that is sustainable long term. The initial salary offering is decent when you are new, but after a few years at the company the salary offered is way below market value. The only way to advance would be to go into management . Additionally, if you feel like you really made a difference at the company, be prepared for the higher ups to get all the credit and you to rarely be acknowledged for all your hard work.
