Extremely lucrative if you're good at it. There's a lot of things out of your control, but if you can persevere and work hard - you'll see a nice commission check. Really nice office - pretty open The recruiters & account managers who work here are amazing. They're all incredibly hard working and good people at their core. Any of them are willing to help on a moment's notice and won't ask for anything in return.

I'm going to break this down to make this easier to read. 1) Management : Incredibly abusive and unprofessional. Outside of AK, management uses the hard work of recruiters and account managers to lucratively profit and fund their vacation-laden lifestyles. One manager in particular, who will go un-named, is incredibly abusive and will not hesitate to verbally harass employees about anything he can think of. He is quick to blame others for his failures and will make you hate your job. There was an instance where they were throwing water balloons at people at their desks using computers. WATER BALLOONS AND COMPUTERS. They create an environment that is toxic and ripe with micromanagement. Multiple times managers will watch over you and dissect each single action you're doing, asking why they aren't doing/are doing something. 2) Money. The company doesn't make over $15M/yr, yet the combined salary between management (4 people) is nearly at $1M/yr. There is intensely heavy profit sharing at the top of the food chain. Normally, this wouldn't matter to me, because if you've worked at a company long enough and you work hard everyday - you deserve it. But these people, aside from showing up on time, wouldn't do anything at work (literally anything), other than meet with each team in the morning. They'd watch YouTube or surf Amazon, in-between micromanaging their employees. 3) Location - Although the office itself is cool, the location is terrible. The location is incredibly difficult to get to and dead-center in Watertown, making rush hour (both ways) an absolute nightmare. 4)Churn: The turnover here is ridiculous, and goes unspoken. Here at my new company (with an extremely low churn rate), anytime turnover does occur, our director addresses it directly as soon as it happens and is open to any questions. The key here is transparency, which does not exist at ClinLab. Everything is brushed under the rug. 5) Recap: Their business model is genius. Pray on newly graduated kids who have no relevant work experience, promise them a spot with uncapped comission and then squeeze the lemon as much as you can - and when they figure out what this company is doing to it's employees - throw that lemon out and star the process over. It allows the company to maximize revenue for it's higher level employees and unfortunately, is completely sustainable since the bio/pharma industry in Greater Boston is booming. You can make money here, but you will hate your life and it is 100% due to management's poor ability to do their job : manage people.
