I joined this company last year on OPT just before filing my H1B in March. Initially they said I will paid 80K. During the documentation they wrote my salary as 60K and they explained that this was as per minimum labor salary and it will be applied only when I don't have any project. I didn't argue much as it was 1st week of April i.e. H1B application time. My first paycheck I received salary as per 60K, and I was told that I will receive the remaining amount next month once they receive payment from the vendor. The next month same, I received only 60K, again with the same reason. After 2 months when complained them they told me, they have to keep at least 3 months of my salary as a buffer amount to run my payroll in case my project is over, as I am now on H1B. Even after 3 months, still I received 60K with reasons like waiting for vendor payment or bank holiday. When I left in October they had around 19K of my money which I never got and cannot do anything legally as they mentioned my salary only 60K on my H1B application. They took advantage of my H1B status and immigration to rip me off with false promises. All I would say is stay away from these people and never trust them on there word.
