Also, such a tool helps companies like us (remote first) to track the daily work as well as the time and effort for specific projects, so your employees know they won't be overworked. We have a six-month appraisal program and an annual bonus. We have an open-door policy, hence if you feel pay is not justified, managers and top management take utmost care to settle the concern.
