Pluspunten

Some of the people are nice to work with, and casual dress code.

Minpunten

Pay is low. $35,000 for college graduate working as Client Service Rep. Office also has weird and strict rules like NO phones out all day… if caught with phone then you get in trouble and are made to feel like you’re a bad kid in school. You will also be micromanaged like crazy.

Minpunten

I worked at a small global Cogency office (not the US), and I'm still kicking myself for not running during probation. This workplace transformed me into someone I didn't recognize. Management systematically undermines your confidence and self-worth without any legitimate basis. 1. Toxic Management Culture The management style here is dysfunctional, and HR is exist-as-if-none. There's no safe channel to raise concerns with upper management—anyone who speaks up is labeled a troublemaker. This is deeply ingrained in the company culture. 2. Workplace Bullying Employees form cliques and engage in backstabbing to boost their own performance reviews. They hide behind phrases like "it's just business," but there's zero consistency in how standards are applied. 3. Manipulated Performance Reviews Managers weaponize performance reviews for personal vendettas, regardless of your actual performance. When asked for specific examples or evidence, they deflect with "we don't micromanage"—which is ironic given their controlling behavior. My manager actually had the audacity to insult my FAMILY during my review. That's the caliber of "leadership" we're talking about. 4. Retaliation Against Former Employees The company refuses to provide basic employment verification or references for those who resign. Worse, they actively try to sabotage your future career prospects. "Toxic" doesn't begin to describe this place. I spent months in therapy and on medication to recover from the psychological damage after leaving. This company destroyed my confidence, happiness, enthusiasm, and ability to sleep normally. Writing this review is retraumatizing, but if I wish I could save even one person from this hellhole, it's worth it. DO NOT WORK HERE.
