Pluspunten
Remote-only with no office to report to, so hybrid/in-office work will never be a problem. PTO upon joining with accrual. Standard health benefits. A brand name in the crypto/fintech space, even if the product is mediocre.
Minpunten
The executives and leadership cover their own behinds when market turmoil comes into play, as you can read in previous reviews. Lies upon lies. When the crypto winter hit, they'd say "Our financials are strong". After one round of layoffs, they would continually address layoff questions in meetings with a line like, "We do not anticipate any more layoffs at this time". Then later, they suddenly and messily laid off a huge amount of people. And who's left? The same leadership that's been there for years. As another review below said, it's also pathetic that they'd lay people off with a 5 minute, scripted monologue with no option for asking questions. With zero notice and only nominal severance. Even though when the economy was booming, they were overhiring individual contributors and coordinators left and right. (*cough* abuse of funding *cough*) Coinme likes to position themselves as doing something innovative, when they have plenty of competitors doing exactly the same thing with Bitcoin ATMs. Their product isn't even competitive, and many of the product updates are just "keeping up with the Joneses". Their partnerships with a few major financial companies are all that keep them afloat.
