Minpunten

Unexperienced management team, high turnover rate in many departments because of this and their need to micromanage everything and everyone. You would think when 4-5 employees leave in a few week span it would be obvious. Constant chatter in the building about it, yet the ones that do it are still here.

There was absolutely nothing positive about my employment experience with Community Workforce Solutions.

My short tenure with this organization was eye-opening, and I eventually left due to the hostile work environment. For starters, no unpaid lunch break is provided, you are expected to work at your desk and eat simultaneously. Management offers very little guidance, support, or training. Micro-management is rampant, and upper management lacks trust in its direct reports, that you must provide detailed summaries of your daily activities, especially if any hybrid work is done - even if you are producing results. I observed employees who were unhappy and unwilling to engage in a simple daily greeting. Employees /departments were in silos. Much of the hostile work environment is attributed to the work culture set by upper management, especially the Executive Director, who never personally engaged with other employees unless they were at a director level or above—the overall negative work culture results in a high staff turnover.
