Minpunten
YOUR BOSS WILL "THROW YOU UNDER THE BUS" JUST TO SAVE THEIR FAT A_ _es! Here let me further explain: Morrison's promise to all employees; family oriented company. The truth is; they give you all the resources...corporate HR phone number and other "higher ups" to contact. Regardless if you are a line-staff or management, once you call corporate you are automatically on the "(bleep) list..." Work load (like the previous comment) for 3 people, yes very true! And if you don't comply or actually do a great job training people (that's if your director is not watching labor (OT)); meaning you strive to work longer hours just to make everyone happy, the RDO will tell you that your "expertise" is needed at some other account. Little does the poor employee know, he/she is required to transfer within a "drop of the hat." They'll relocate you, sure no problem...but be sure to like lots and lots of cornfields! Oh, and the best is getting to know the CEO of the account. By the way, sometimes they will say "the client has requested for you to be removed from this account..." You ask why, they will respond: this is very common for contract food service, the client does not have to give us a reason. What truly count for this company is profit!!! They could care less about you! Good luck getting the answers you deserve. Orientation was great...you'll learn what the business is SUPPOSE to be. Then the real work comes into play when you get to your account. Again, good luck on trying to implement everything that you have learned. Low staff morale...ABSOLUTELY NO MORALE!!! The director of the account that I used to be at made rude comments when he knew one of the managers were getting a day-off. Degrading comments even when you are off work. Don't get me wrong, I completely understand about taking responsibility and when something has to be done, it gets done...but let's give some sort of appreciation to the assistants and staff. Most directors are fat and lazy...It's because all they do is "post" invoices and watch youtube videos. Sure they are there 7 days a week...but I guarantee you, they disappear when you need them the most. Oh, just a quick comment; upper management will definitely "throw you under the bus" just to save their behinds. And they will let you know that you cannot talk to the client of the account. If a serious accident happens and you try to make sure that your employees are ok; meaning emergency hospital visit, yeah...immediate supervisor does not like that. BECAUSE THIS MEANS THE "BONUS" THAT THEY WILL GET IS LOST ALREADY DUE TO A LIABILITY CLAIM. Go figure. Comment on selling old food: The response that you get is...THEY ARE OLD, THEY DON'T KNOW ANY BETTER.
