Minpunten
I came to Compulsion thinking it would be different from AAA. They talked a lot about autonomy and creative ownership. But as the team has grown, nearly all of the creative people from the company's last game have left or been pushed out and replaced with AAA people. Decision making is now top-down and micro-managed, because that's what the AAA people are used to. These people aren't bad, but they form cliques with people they know from before and make people with indie backgrounds feel unwelcome. It is still a great studio for many reasons, but if you're coming from indie these people may not take you seriously. They don't value the skills that come from working with limited resources and needing your creativity to compensate for lack of $$. Whether you will be happy here all depends on who you are and how you like to work.
