I disagree with the other reviewers. I worked for CTC for four years, moving from tech support analyst to the national sales engineer during that time. The work was sophisticated and challenging, and I was treated and compensated well. It is fair to say that this is a challenging environment with high expectations. Is that bad? Not in my view. This software drives life and death medical reporting. There is not much tolerance for error; but for good reason. That said, I made a serious mistake once at work, one that had a significant client impact. I wasn’t fired, demoted, etc. We worked through it, I’m confident, because I had the trust of the president and he understood that even best efforts sometimes fall short. When I decided it was time to move my family across country, I was able to continue working from home. How many employers allow that? And, after I left the company to pursue a career in law, Dr. Liberman still sends me holiday cards years later. As for old technology, well, I get it. New tech is sexier. But older technology still drives a LOT of serious business applications for many companies huge and small. So that criticism rings at least a bit hollow, at least for a serious tech employee. Bottom line, this isn’t a perfect job for everyone. You do have to be good, and sometimes have a thick skin. But experiences vary and mine was quite good.

It’s a small company with a dominant leader. Either you will click or you won’t last. Nothing unusual about that though.
