One unfortunate aspect of anonymous reviews is that the company hasn't much recourse for rebuttal. It's the employees that have been with ConEst for 5,10, and even 20 years that should be asked about it. Being one of this group, I can say with certainty that what is generally described in these reviews is not the company I have come to know. It would seem that most people motivated to write reviews here are the ones with a grudge, and I'll also say that some employees get let go with good cause and leave it at that. The owners are two of the nicest people you'd ever want to meet, and truly consider their employees as family. ConEst is a small company with all of its associated challenges. There have been some tough economic times, with high risk, so forgive them if they expect the majority of an 8 hour day to be spent working and not going about other distractions. Of course, time off now and then for appointments, personal issues, etc is expected and accommodated. ConEst offers competitive benefits including salary, vacation time, a generous Holiday schedule, health insurance/eye/dental, 401K, the occasional pizza party and a bottomless coffee pot (<: It has a great group of people and offers challenging work on a sophisticated piece of software.
