Serious Concerns About Privacy and Security – Locker Management Issues

I would like to express my concerns regarding the company’s emphasis on "privacy and security," which appears inconsistent with actual practices, particularly in the management of employee lockers. The current system seems disorganized, and the insufficient number of lockers has led some employees to use unassigned ones temporarily. However, even in such situations, proper protocols should be followed—such as verifying locker ownership through internal communication—before accessing or relocating personal belongings. Unfortunately, my locked locker was cut open without authorization, and items inside were removed without any accountability. If a secured locker cannot protect employees' personal belongings, how can we trust the company to safeguard more sensitive data and privacy? Additionally, if valuable items are stored in lockers and such incidents occur, who is responsible? Are there clear policies to address these situations? Unauthorized access to personal property raises serious concerns about respect for employee privacy and security. This issue reflects a broader problem: the company’s lack of effective security measures and awareness. Rather than merely advocating for "privacy security," the company should take tangible steps—such as providing adequate lockers and implementing clear management procedures—to ensure a truly secure work environment. The company mandates privacy and security policies, yet offers no protection for employees' belongings stored in lockers, since anyone can cut off the lock and move away the stuff in the locker in unauthorized and no way to claim back
