From substance abuse treatment, to services for veterans and their families, to treatment for mental illness and family struggles that require the expertise of a family therapist, opportunities abound. Sometimes people apply for positions for which they are not suited. They don't realize the level of patience that is needed, for example, to work with those who are suffering from persistent mental illnesses, and then they terminate their employment. As a result, we have a high turnover in some departments.
