Management is often promoted internal without experience or consideration as to how they interact with their team members. Upper management is anywhere from providing opportunities to being exceptionally out of touch. It is surprising how often upper management is inexperienced, The insecurities of those kinds of managers it make it hard to have a collaborative effort to get things done.
