Managers and coworkers really make the experience here. Utilities are not a particularly exciting industry but everyone takes pride in their work and take time to help each other despite high workloads at times (I can only speak for the Conversions department). Good benefits and opportunities to increase pay on a long-term scale or move laterally/vertically within the company. No shortage of business which makes for good career outlook. Opportunities to work hybrid or remote based on personal circumstances and proven reliability, although in-office and standard business hours highly preferred.
Minpunten
I know the training team was in the process of revamping their onboarding process and consolidating the necessary information scattered throughout the company's knowledge base (KB), but generally starting out was a bit rocky and learned too many things by trial and error. There is a strong push from execs to improve processes which means expectations and responsibilities are constantly changing. The expectations for output and accuracy are a bit steep. Previously large layoffs for short-term profits caused a second wave of resignations but as of 2023 they have recovered to a reasonable workforce level and made some automation improvements to (mostly) keep up with growing business.
