If a provider is not meeting expectations or not meeting clinical standards it maybe addressed, without follow up or not addressed until there is a rear miss or patient harm Career opportunities are not based on performance it is based on popularity. In the event an internal candidate is not selected for a role; there isn't communication on how to move forward in their career aspirations; a thanks but no thank email is sent. Years of service and exceeding expectations doesn't resonate as a positive attribute.
