The extra effort is always recognized and celebrated, but it could inadvertently validate overworking rather than flag an underlying resource allocation issue. Overall, I had a great internship experience at Cortex Design. I had the opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects and see them at different stages of development. Through this, I gained valuable experience in research, physical design, and digital design. The team fosters a very supportive work environment, with thoughtful colleagues and a strong, encouraging management team.

As my internship was limited to 10 hours per week, I didn’t encounter any cons.
