Discounts on Marriott hotel restaurants Discounts on partner companies Managers were flexible with scheduling, sometimes even covering a shift for you themselves!! They also had the ability to have other corporate Marriott locations send their employees to cover a shift EASY to move up!! Just explain an interest in wanting to do more than what you were hired for and the managers WILL listen. I’ve seen this consistently through all Marriott locations!! You can work your way from front desk to management within a year Whenever the hotel sold out for the night, each front desk worker from that day received a bonus. The higher the price of the room that night, the higher the bonus! Bonuses for recommending a new employee Bonuses if your name is mentioned positively in a customer survey Marriott FIRMLY believes that treating your employees well will lead to employees treating guests well... and it worked. I felt valued by the company therefore it was easy for me to value guests
