Pluspunten
I came in as a temporary consultant for the recruiting team internally. I was very surprised how welcoming all the team members were and how knowledgeable they are! With my background primarily in corporate, I am used to a cutthroat environment. CoC's team was different; they work together, no competitiveness that may create a hostile work environment, and an appreciation for each employee's diverse background. Everyone in the office including the CEO is very transparent. Open communication is part of what makes this a successful workplace. No one ever has to wonder how they are contributing to the organization's success. As a former freelancer I was impressed from my experience applying through Creatives on Call. Each recruiter remembered the information I shared in my interview and reached out to me with opportunities I may not have seen. I didn't take on any assignments as a freelancer but they are definitely more invested in each candidate's success than other recruiting teams. Everyone works hard. Because there is such a high level of employee satisfaction, we tend to get things done in a more efficient manner.
Minpunten
I can't personally think of any downsides but I do believe the company culture is not one everyone can understand. If you want to work somewhere with a brand identity and have new challenges each day, CoC is the place. If you want constant direction with your work, monotony and silos, this might not be a good fit.
