Actual time with patients--patient volume is about 40% less than my previous job. You have support with in-house PTs, health coaches, and LCSWs-often times can be seen immediately after your visit. Everyone wants to give patients the best experience possible. Able to provide direct-access to my patients since I have the time and desire to now because I am not flooded with menial EHR tasks. FMLA/Work accommodations paperwork can be a bit rough. High turnover of physicians and then replaced with NPs. EHR is so-so in regards to ease of communication with patients. Clinic is open 7 days a week and very late on weekdays, so your shifts are not the typical 8-4 Many patients are not medically challenging (con?
