Pluspunten
I've thought a lot about what makes Cutline such a special place to work and it truly comes down to the people -- not just my teammates, but the clients we work with. I've worked at a number of different PR agencies in my career, of varying sizes, and never have I worked with a group of such genuine, kind, and hardworking individuals.
Every agency will tell you they have a strong culture, but culture is about so much more than company-sponsored happy hours or random perks. I've never worked at a company where I've felt so comfortable being myself, and where I've been pushed on a daily basis to be a better version of myself. Aside from the people, we choose to work with companies and brands we're personally passionate about, which makes our jobs so much easier and more fun. Cutline may be a PR agency, but it doesn't have any of the bureaucratic tendencies mid-size and large agencies have.
A few other pros:
-Bi-coastal office presence; SF office space is beautiful and right by Montgomery Bart, and NYC is located in WeWork which has a lot of fun benefits
-Dynamic teams (no set "teams," everyone works on different accounts so you have the opportunity to learn from multiple people)
-Bi-annual, week long get-togethers where the entire agency comes together
-Work from home Fridays!!
-A lot of growth opportunity - we greatly value promoting within and will do everything we can to help people reach their goals
Minpunten
No downsides. It is a fast-paced environment and you will be pushed to deliver great work every day, so if you are only interested in coasting along, you may find Cutline is not the best fit for you.
