Pluspunten

Reputable client, good learning experience. Overall I would still recommend this job to get your foot in the door because you learn a lot of different software and IT operational procedures. You also interact with users from a variety of different departments and backgrounds who are usually willing to offer advice or answer career questions.

Minpunten

Upper management is friendly and reasonable but almost never on site, so does not get the full picture of day-to-day operations. Relies too much on supervisor. There is no training process, so they expect existing employees to train new employees while also maintaining performance standards which is both unrealistic and mentally exhausting for the existing employees. There is basically no chance of moving up or being recruited by the client. Raises and bonuses are a joke leading to further turnover. Additional duties such as inventory management and onboardings are expected of certain employees on top of a regular ticket queue at no additional pay. Promotions and rewards are based on favoritism rather than performance.

One of the key advantages of working at Dyopath is the flexibility of being remote. With that said, many people value the convenience of working from home.

Minpunten

Unfortunately, while Dyopath offers a remote work environment, there are several significant downsides to the position. The pay is very notably below the national average, making it difficult to feel fully valued for the amount of work and dedication expected. The pay, combined with the heavy workload, creates an environment where you may feel overburdened and underappreciated. Training is another area of concern. The company's approach to onboarding is extremely outdated, relying heavily on old training videos that don't provide much in terms of hands-on experience. With minimal personal interaction or opportunities to ask questions, it’s challenging to truly grasp the complexities of the way Dyopaht expects you to succeed. Additionally, the Knowledge Base/Articles and other internal resources often feature outdated information, including screenshots of old systems, which can make it frustrating to navigate day-to-day tasks. In terms of day-to-day operations, there is a sense that the company could do more to support employees, especially when it comes to offering more engaging and current training resources. While remote work is a valuable perk, the other aspects of the job leave much to be desired in terms of employee satisfaction and development.
