Pluspunten

- Very interesting product - Great stepping stone into cyber security and IT sales, especially if you have no prior experience - Made some life long friends - Great exposure into large enterprise accounts early on in your sales career - Travel and get taken care of, stay at 5 star hotels - SKO is in Spain and is a great exposure to the greater team - Diversity within the organisation and great female to male ratio - Induction is often overseas

- Being in Australia you feel like the poor cousin and not looked after - Unlike other glass door reviews, no free lunches or paid health insurance here. - Tend to work very long hours due to the time zone differences - Management cares about revenue and not your mental health well being, you are often finding yourself burnt out and mentally exhausted - As an Account Executive you are expected to do EVERYTHING, be the channel manager, BDR, BDM, CSM and AM. All roles which are traditionally split out due to the workload are combined in one for the account executive. - Management is very reactive and takes impulsive decisions. Speaks to customers, partners and employees with disrespect. - Hiring only from top tier universities won't get you the best sales rep, you can go to the best university in the world but still have terrible EQ which can't be taught or fixed. - Management in Australia is inexperienced and have only been sales managers at Darktrace and therefore your learning experience will be limited. - Company is set up by Autonomy and still have the same management values which is none - Morale in the office is at an all time low, don't think there is morale at the moment, everyone is very upset and angry at management - Sales expectations and KPIS are unrealistic - Promotion to team lead is terrible, just a glorious title given to non-experienced employees to manage a team. No pay rise associated to it, extra work load and same targets to sell. Setting the team lead up to fail. - Commission structure is a scam, you receive 50% in the first year and 50% after the following year, this is probably how they made money - Expense system is terrible, you will always be out of pocket. - Very low base, you would be lucky to get a pay rise as some people have had to beg for more money after working there for years. - You'll often be afraid to take leave, no leave in June or last 2 weeks of any month. - Sales tactics and unethical and very pushy. Harassing customers every week and being pushy as told by management to do so. - In house CRM, Sparta, is terrible, for a multinational company they have a terrible way of managing their data and client accounts. - Unlike the "best company to work for" award they have, it's the complete opposite - Company is full of chinese whispers, often team leaders and managers don't know what's going on within the workplace and employees are laid off without them knowing. - Overall, very toxic environment, no loyalty to employees, no company culture and just a rude company to work for.
