I find the problems that are here to work on solving to be interesting and worth doing. It should be especially interesting for software engineers with at least some interest in data science/machine learning. Engineers own a project mostly by themselves, but with input and discussion with other co-workers. Expect to have your voice heard. It is often busy here, though people are generally accommodating in supporting one another on their projects.
