6yHi there,
It looks like you are sharing false information. No Data Scientist stayed with us for 4 months only so I suspect your post is inaccurate. We actually had 4 contractors working in Ukraine in 2019, helping us on the UI/UX, while we have more than 45 in-house engineers and data scientists. I invite you to check this on our LinkedIn page, you will see by yourself.
Likewise, no employee was fired last year (2019), neither this year (2020). We did ask our Head of Product to step down in March 2020 though. About our ego: it would be boosted only if we are successful. To be successful we need a great team. Sometimes, we make mistakes, and it does not work. This is exactly what happened with our Head of Product. The good news is, when we make mistakes, we learn from it and we fix them.
Did you know that we conduct a happiness survey every 6 months? The results are showing that we could improve slightly our office environment. This is what we are doing this year (May 2020) by moving into a bigger and more modern office. We also need to improve our internal communication. We are working on it!
It would have been also interesting to talk and share your experience working with our well respected CSO (your former manager) Tania, and the multiple patents we have been working on. Tania, she's neither a friend or family (well, I think we became good friends over time). Every member of the management team are people that we have hired. They are neither friends or family members... I invite you to check on LinkedIn... Again. However, it's true though, that some members of the founding team (and shareholders) are family (Jeremie) or Friend (Antoine). When you build a company, it often starts this way :)
At least, I'm glad you enjoyed the cleaning lady, she's indeed very kind. I'm a tad sad you forgot to mention about the flexible work hour, Work From Home policy, the free breakfast every morning, the free coffee, the Friday Lunch... But, oh well, that's true we can do better, and any feedback helps us to keep improving.
Chris
