Pluspunten
Deepgram is almost a great place to work. It is a startup so the hours are long, but there are smart people, challenging problems, and good compensation. Heirarchy is fairly flat and you can talk to almost anyone.
Minpunten
Leadership is too busy trying to catch up to competitors to make intelligent business decisions. Most time is spent imitating products of bigger companies. Morale is low after multiple rounds of layoffs and management seems disconnected both from the company and broader industry. While the CEO is transparent about the state of the company, this is not very comforting as he does not seem to have a vision for how we will "win". Hours are getting even longer after layoffs and taking use of unlimited PTO is discouraged.
