High paying job for teacher without doctorate. Plenty of time to work on personal coding projects. Strong relationship with students.

Doesn't pay as much as an "industry" coding job.

They offer unlimited PTO (so long as you don't abuse it), are a great team of people who joke and laugh with eachother as much as they work hard!

Minpunten

After years of teaching, it can become monotonous. But that's any job, really.

Before Strayer started running daily operations, the culture was super friendly and laidback. Students' needs were prioritized, pay was decent but could've been better, and morale was really good.

Minpunten

The parent company, Strayer, started running daily operations and brought in a lot of people from corporate to make changes that ran the company into the ground. Layoffs happened every couple of months throughout 2024 so that Strayer could just take over the bootcamps.
