Other teams were very different, but for MY TEAM:
Management played favorites and made them very obvious to the rest of the team, absolutely killed morale.
There is criteria that must be met to move into an Acct Mgr role. Management will make exceptions for people that they like no matter how junior or how many deals they closed. Giant slap in the face to the people who've proven themselves and been tenured with the company.
Recruiters are always the problem. Several account managers on my team brought back 0 jobs to work on for 4-5 months, but it was my job as a recruiter to find those jobs for them on-top of continuing to deliver on my recruiting KPI's. Not even sure what they were getting paid to do.
Also - the company is having layoffs despite continuously sending out emails and posting on LinkedIn that they are not having layoffs. People in my office were dropping like flies before I left.
