Like many manufacturing companies, there can be periodic slow times that affect workload and pace, which may not suit those who prefer a constantly fast-paced environment. Additionally, some higher-level positions are occasionally filled through outside hiring rather than internal promotion, which can be discouraging for employees looking to advance from within. However, these issues are balanced by the otherwise strong and supportive company culture.

Weekend overtime is voluntary most of the time.

Inadequate ventilation for removing smoke that fills half the factory, plant manager has near zero experience and tells us to perform extremely dangerous tasks like working on machines while they’re running. We only get a 20minute lunch. In three months 7 people have come and gone in maintenance. Very hazardous work environment, plant manager is going to get another person killed. OSHA and the EPA would have a field day with this place they openly dump oil and paint onto the ground on the backside of the factory. Machinery is in the worst condition I have ever seen in 17 years of this work.
