Pluspunten

It’s a fast paced environment and good place to network. They surprisingly have good clients. Since, it’s a start-up one could pick up multiple roles and try to learn while on the job. An ideal place for self-starters willing to work long hours. The products are great. They have an excellent UI for their Grant Management System. The salary scale is relatively better than other social sector organisations.

Minpunten

- The work environment is toxic. There is no mentoring and the leadership has unrealistic expectations. New employees are left on their own to understand a very complex technology. Also, older employees find themselves incapable of handling knowledge transfers due to growing workload. - The tech team is severely understaffed. This makes it difficult for the products to work effectively. There are too many projects and very few people to handle them. The founders are clueless about most projects. They have a tendency to force random jobs on employees lacking subject matter expertise or provide any kind of guidance. - Bullying is a common phenomena at the work place. The upper management especially has no qualms about throwing employees under the bus at client meetings. - The HR is absolutely incompetent. Also, salaries are delayed every month and randomly deducted even for leaves taken during Covid. The upper management is extremely insensitive and not open to any kind of feedback.

- Toxic Upper & Middle management - Blind AI inclusion & lack of reliability - Broken Product (built on rudimentary Frameworks) - Extreme client obsession (saying yes to every Vague demand put up by the client - No separation of Role ( Engineers do Client Calls , whereas Project Analysts push code using Claude) - Biased Policies & Handful Decision Makers who imply their personal biases in the Company policy. - Job Insecurity - people gets replaced by AI , if they try to implement their own logic and reason. - Zero professionalism - No definition of roles , boundaries , Managers getting personal and acting weird - Cut throat office politics - Career advancement is driven more by optics and political alignment than by hard data - Cost cutting at its peak - Firing employees to become Profitable , removing benefits like meals , Dedicated cafeteria and office space. -Unreal expectations in Below average salaries - The company failed to backfill open roles, forcing the remaining team to absorb the deficit on stagnant wages. -Leadership lacks technical literacy and holds unrealistic expectations regarding AI capabilities and timelines. -The managers are completely full of themselves, love to brag, and then play the victim to trash you behind your back
