Pluspunten
- Nice office facility in Bangkok, just recently acquired a new space and had all the fittings done - Activities that HR & Office Facility Team are doing show their effort to make employees feel happy - Company trainings are good, though they recently converted many of them to be online (face-to-face is much better) - Office is nearby public transportation (sky train) - Trys hard to promote diversity - A great place to learn and grow because you'll have to survive in this organization and live in unclarity
Minpunten
- Although it's a global company, the processes and things here could be very disorganized (but not to the extent of start-ups). - Lack of communication from Global down to Regional down to Local levels. Too many silos within the organization and mostly came from those who have been here for a long time (becoming the culture of not communicating well) - Although I like HR here, I hate their local policies and benefits. Relatively good base salary but medical insurance was too poor. Provident fund is also poor, not up to petrochemical industry standard. - Lack of growth opportunity (unless you work in manufacturing facilities), especially if you aren't in the U.S. since it's an American company. Lack of movement or promotion, unless someone retires. - Company (chemical industry) will only shrink; minimal growth - Love to fire people with no mercy (American style); job security becomes a big issue if you have a family to take care of
