I had a mostly positive experience working at DSG. The majority of the team was fantastic to collaborate with, and I appreciated the presence of many long-term employees. Engaging with customers was a highlight for me. In the early days, there was a refreshing lack of micromanagement; as long as we met our billing targets and kept complaints at bay, we enjoyed a good amount of independence in our work. You learn a lot because you are exposed to all different types of customers and technology.

Managing a substantial book of business can certainly be stressful, particularly during hurricane season. The compensation model, which is based on billable hours, has its advantages and disadvantages. However, one significant downside is the unpredictability of earnings; you never quite know what your paycheck will look like at the end of the month.
