Pluspunten
While there have been a few positive aspects, such as opportunities for cross-functional collaboration, one team in particular has fostered a notably toxic environment. Employees who do not conform to a certain inner circle often face exclusion and undue pressure. In some cases, this has escalated to bullying behaviors and even threats of termination under the guise of 'performance improvement'—though it's unclear what exactly is expected to improve, especially when seeking clarification is met with hostility. When a direct manager becomes visibly irritated by questions—claiming they're repetitive, rather than addressing them constructively—it undermines open communication. It's concerning when a leadership style discourages learning and clarity, particularly in complex or ambiguous situations. A manager who views questions as a nuisance rather than an opportunity to support team growth fosters a culture of fear and confusion rather than collaboration.
Minpunten
This has been one of the most disappointing professional experiences I’ve encountered. The onboarding and initial interactions were marked by a facade of positivity and inclusiveness, which quickly faded once it became clear I wasn’t part of the performative 'pick-me' culture that seems to dominate certain teams. Unfortunately, the environment turned toxic, especially within the direct management structure. Rather than encouraging individuality or constructive dialogue, the culture punishes those who don't conform to a narrow social mold. Confidence and authenticity are not valued in this team dynamic; instead, insecurity and favoritism often thrive. It’s deeply disheartening to see a company allow such dysfunction to dictate the treatment of its employees.
