Cool coworkers, most of the staff is very willing to help and there's a real sense of being in the thick of it together.

Minpunten

A lot of turnover, look at the reviews here, all 1s and 5s. They want us to leave reviews praising the company on here because it's getting harder to hire people. Recent legislative changes have yanked the carpet out from under this business model. The sales numbers are about to tank.

Thank you for providing feedback on your experience at EarQ. I would like to start off by mentioning that we only have ONE employee here at EarQ with the title of SEO Strategist and he has approached management out of concern for his reputation to explain that he did NOT write this review. Also, even if he did, which he didn't, the facts are inaccurate as our SEO Strategist has not even been here for 2 years. That being said, I am sorry that you have not had a favorable experience at EarQ and that you do not feel comfortable approaching management with these concerns. While we certainly do encourage employees to provide feedback in person or through online channels like Glassdoor, we do not explicitly ask staff to write favorable reviews for us. We encourage them to share both the positive and negative aspects so that we can review them and address any issues or concerns. While we do agree that recruitment and retention in general can be a challenge, we have actually had a very successful year and have hired 12 new employees since January. We are also very proud of the fact that we have some staff who have recently celebrated between 5-10 years of employment with the company. These employees have actually grown and developed here at EarQ and some have even been promoted to leadership roles. In regard to the business, we are actually having one of our more successful years to date, and with the addition of more sales staff we expect that to continue to increase and improve. Thank you again for your feedback, we will certainly take it into consideration as we continue to grow.

This company is getting a lot of things right. It starts with looking at each candidate for a cultural fit, as much as the skill set they would bring. I've seen time and time again the absolute dedication to getting the right people in the right positions. It's a work hard, play hard atmosphere. If you want to grow professionally and personally, this team is amazing, challenging, open, and caring. If you're not open to challenging yourself to be better than you were the day before, then you probably wouldn't be a good fit. This company really cares about its employees and has demonstrated it in many ways since my employment began. I have many years of experience and have never felt more appreciated or cared for by another company. In addition to company culture, EarQ cares very much about its members and the programs we offer. We're always looking for ways to improve. I honestly don't understand some of the negative reviews posted here, but I'm glad I went with my gut and didn't take them too much to heart. I believe it can be a hard pill to swallow for some people when they realize their performance, attitude, or hunger for growth doesn't match what the company is looking for. A wellness program, company outings, ping pong and basketball in the back, gym equipment and frequent company cookouts for lunch are all just bonuses to the awesome work environment and open door policy. Oh, and nobody asked me to write this review. I'm writing in on my own accord.

There are some growing pains as the company expands, but that is to be expected. The changing industry creates some challenges to expand on our offerings. Resources are somewhat limited with a small team, but the company is dedicated to expanding its workforce by 50% over the next few years.

The concept is good but all smoke and mirrors.

Too many to list them all. If you are not a party buddy don't expect to go far. The leadership is terrible and very unexperienced. The are back stabbers and ugly people. Many have jumped ship because it is sinking fast. They do not provide the services they SAY they offer. Smoke and mirrors. Don't expect them to follow through with promises.
