Pluspunten
I had a lot of autonomy and was able to work on projects independently. Daily 20-30 min scrum meets kept everyone up to date and gave a opportunity for the team to offer advice if someone was stuck on a problem from the previous day. Eli and Will were good at identifying when a project was ready to roll out, and we moved from one project to the next quickly so I got to work on and solve a wide variety of problems. Working remotely as part of a team was really fluid. The company was well set up with modern tools for collaborative workflow. Screen sharing allowed pair programming from time to time. It felt like we were all in the same office. Everyone communicated really well about what was needed and there was always someone available to help out when the need arose.
Minpunten
I can’t really think of any. Full time hours weren’t available for this position, but I didn’t need full time hours at the time so it worked out. The product is largely written in JavaScript, I was working in Python, this created an issue on two occasions but for the most part I was able to work around this and export my work as json or another format for inclusion in the product.
