Eaton has basically dwindled down the US salaried workforce to the point where it can simply just fill orders and no more. Day-to-day survival is all that matters, yet the expectations of a world class organization remain. Absolutely no chance of ever accomplishing your goals or getting a raise. Basically the definition of insanity for me. I joined Eaton in 2002, and today it has 1/3 the salaried workforce and double the sales! Of course, management never saw this same reduction--there are more far more cheifs than indians than when I started. Heck, I had 7 different people who thought I worked for them! I mean, by the time I left it litteraly felt like the opening scene from "Office Space."
