Pluspunten
-Wine and lots of food! -Lunch n learns -Top clients and brands -Family owned so more independent, family feel / not just another employee (this is counteracted by the nepotism, HR void, unprofessionalism etc. below) -Flat structure in theory (everyone has same desk, literally - but ultimately so many layers and jostling to get ahead... )
Minpunten
-Underpaid relative to work demands, client calibre, and how much more $ we bring in vs competitors... if you work on a crisis, rates are higher but those rewards don't go into your pocket unless VP+. Paycheque is greater than > brand -HR is ineffectual, uninvolved, lots of nepotism and favoritism... I saw DOZENS of people fast-tracked as a clear result of extra schmooze time and this feedback loop of getting more lightweight but visible account work or teams... lots of hard working or more introverted AEs/SAEs were essentially ignored. This is UNFAIR and EXPLOITATIVE! Younger folks, be aware of this going in -Weird tolerance for underperformance and again, favoritism or 'let's let this slide'... totally inappropriate workplace comments and internal unprofessionalism, borderline harassment cases (open secret) and oh, the occasional creative accounting aka fraud moment? Yes this is an agency, but stop lauding integrity or pretending that the 'leadership' is so incredible. There are some strong leaders, but many, many weak ones who should not be responsible for team mgmt, let alone client budgets... -Another note on nepotism: There are a decent handful of not so diligent staff here because, wait for it... they are well connected/children of local or national repute e.g. famous physician, celebrity, partner of a C-level, etc. sad normal at some companies but gross when the 'family' and 'equality' brand is so pushed -Support like HR, Admin, Slide art (not the Creatives!) is really week... This is a lean place which seems cool at first then you have an IT or HR issue and God help you. Have heard multiple complaints to HR and poor mgmt not go addressed...
