Minpunten
Honestly the most stressful, depressing job experience. You start your training process with a set of online videos/quizzes that are supposed to help you learn and understand the recruitment process. After that, you basically sit on LinkedIn for 40 hours a week hassling various companies and employees for your service that they do not want or need. I constantly found myself stress checking my email at home to see responses. Because of this, I do not think there is any sort of work/life balance, though I think it comes with the recruiter career as a whole. It is a very small company, only four employees plus the two owners who are brothers, who you sit directly next to. There is no flexibility with your schedule. I did not realize how badly the stress of the job was affecting me until after I left. It just was not worth it for how much you got paid. It is a very difficult job with very little benefits. Overall, if you are thinking about an entry level recruiting position, go elsewhere. I think a bigger, more established company is definitely the way to go. You will have better training and a better understanding of the industry as a whole.
