Decent - werkgeversreview 2nd year apprentice bij Elliot

I did my apprenticeship through Davis H. Elliot, and worked for them for about 6 years. I left in early 2013 (Glassdoor will only let me pick as far back as 2021). This place was like family. It was very well put together. They paid for your hotel rooms 7 days a week. Going on storm work out of town was some of the best experiences I have ever had with a company. They always took very good care of us. The training was great as well. I have nothing to complain about with this company. Even though they are non-union, I would recommend them to anyone who wanted to do linework.

Work is work. I feel we're heavy on administrative roles that add more work to operations rather than supporting them. I see the reasoning - you gotta protect yourself. If we increased operations manpower to accommodate all would be well.
