There are some very talented people working for the organization and very dedicated to it despite the frustrations. The pay is good, and I believe that this is one of the few reasons people stay longer but after approx. 2-3 years, the honeymoon is over. The European offices are far more relaxed and pleasant than the Brazilian ones. Very international environment.
Minpunten
Brazil. They want to centralize everything unfortunately they do not have the capacity in-house to handle international issues. Management. Most of them have been with the company since day 1 of their careers. They do not know how things are done except the "Embraer way" ... and their way is not in line with most MNCs, Control and command culture. A lot of "because I say so" and egos are at play. They want to pretend they're moving to a meritocracy yet the roots of people who have been there for ages and are against change are deep. You'll need to dig them up before you are competitive with others. Poorly organized. Everything is last minute. It is only fire fighting, nothing is structural.
