Pluspunten

- Owned by Emerson Electric, which helps with training and has a regimented process, also ensures you get your paycheck every month. -Great place to start, because of the different types of people and responsibilities of each employee. - Extremely nice people to work with and for, everyone is friendly and outgoing. - With-in the past year, they have hired more than 10 people for various positions, that are under the age of 35, hopefully this helps to foster in the next-generation for ClosetMaid.

Minpunten

- Never any interaction or team building within and outside of different departments. - Hard to grow into a new position as an employee. - Some people have a job for little to no reason in some management positions. - The executive staff has extremely outdated skills and management techniques, little to no computer knowledge, does not understand the next generation of worker, and are over compensated for only minor success. - Outdated and cramped cubicles, no windows or natural light, stinky moldy carpet, dirty and dull wall colors. - No interactive work spaces or places to have fun or refreshing meetings. - Not an inspiring place to be an employee.

Pluspunten

Great immediate supervisor and their boss. Made top-down communications tolerable. Great co-workers and great collaboration that lifted the entire team.

Minpunten

(1) RIF based on tenure, not performance. HR is too powerful a department, and everyone fears it. (2) Tenure made you lazy, killed creativity, initiative, and promoted a "yes" culture. (3) During COVID layoffs, CEO pay went from $3.7 million to $15.x million, while employees endured 25% furloughs for 3 months, and management 10% reduction in pay for 6 months - explain how that is reasonable. (4) CEO declared DEI as the way forward for career mobility, and a lot of young, promising talent walked out the door, including DEI-qualified minorities. (5) I was one of those minorities.
