Minpunten
My experience with the company was quite disappointing overall. • Layoffs reportedly happened multiple times a year without prior communication or clear performance-based criteria. In one case, an employee received a monthly recognition award and was laid off shortly afterward, which reflected a lack of transparency in decision-making. • Newly joined employees seemed to be more vulnerable during layoffs, possibly because they naturally had less product and framework knowledge compared to employees who had been with the organization for several years. • The work culture often felt like a “hiring and firing” model rather than a place focused on long-term employee growth and stability. • Most of the technology stack and architecture relied heavily on legacy systems, limiting exposure to modern engineering practices. • Annual salary hikes were extremely minimal and often not aligned with employee contributions or market standards. Sometimes it is even less than 2% increments. • Workplace politics were a major concern. Collaboration and mentorship from some senior/leadership-level engineers were limited, and interactions often felt more dominating than supportive. • The product itself was very large and complex, but documentation was almost non-existent. Employees were frequently expected to understand everything solely by debugging through the codebase. • HR support did not feel employee-centric. Recognition and appreciation programs also appeared to lack transparency at times. While the company may offer exposure to a large-scale enterprise product, the overall work culture, communication, and employee support systems need significant improvement.
