No work/life balance - many employees feel pressured to work during their breaks/lunch breaks. Some admit to never leaving their desk or forgetting to eat. You will only be recognized if you are a white man (occasional white woman) and work in a non-customer service department. No support for customer service related positions. You will get yelled at, harassed, cussed at, demeaned, etc. you will receive no thanks or recognition or support/encouragement from management. other departments are celebrated and given prizes/rewards for existing managers will not address or discipline or fire toxic employees. You can get bullied for years and nothing will be done about it. "we are a family" run in the other direction "best in the world at what we do" is a joke. They have some employees working simultaneously 2-3 jobs at a time which hurts all departments and coworkers and the employee understaffed departments with no plans to hire supervisors will pick and choose favorites supervisors are not trained in effective management There is racism and sexism You are told that you are "lucky" to get a raise even if you have worked there for years, are cross-trained in multiple departments, volunteer your time to help other departments, do responsibilities completely outside of your job description, bend over backwards to help customers, help employees with IT related issues even when you are not in IT, etc. You can give your life to this job and end up with nothing.
