Pluspunten

Weekly pay, catered lunches here and there if you’re into that, fun team building days

Minpunten

Atlanta,GA This is the worst place I’ve ever worked. EVER. - I would only suggest this role to a recent college grad or someone who is fresh into sales. Get the title of “Account Manager”, do a year, and get OUT. Go somewhere better and with FAIR pay. - Base pay is $50K, but will drop down to $30K after 15 months. They expect you to be able to make up the difference in commission by then. Possibly attainable, but if the economy is in a downturn, you will not be given any leeway, sympathy, or an extension. - You are essentially doing the job of two people for half the pay. You are your own SDR. You cold call, set your own meetings, and close your own deals. You do everything yourself. - Management is a joke and a half. The main manager is new and his only focus is on proving himself. He only cares about numbers. He also has no life or family in the area, so his life IS work. That’s the worst kind of boss. His direct report is a spineless “Yes Man”. He cares about his people, but at the end of the day he’s a kiss a** and will throw you under the bus if necessary. He has issues being direct as well. -CEO is also a joke. Don’t expect to get any real questions answered during all hands call. He ignores the ones that he knows people won’t like the answer to. - There is an astounding lack of diversity in management and as a whole in the office. There are zero women in leadership—unless you count the fake “promotions” they give people. They like to make up new titles and give people more work without actually paying them more. People of color beware. It’s a culture full of micro aggressions. -Absolutely atrocious turnover. Yes, they will fire you if you don’t pass the final test of their three month “training”. I implore you not to stop job hunting until that’s over. BUT, turnover of “newish” people aside, things got so bad while I was there that even the most tenured folks left. Their top AE of over 18 years? They screwed him over, so he left. There were about 6 other tenured people that quit as well. - The reviews on Google are fake. If you look up the names on LinkedIn, you will see that most of the positive reviews are from people who worked there internally. We were asked to pad the reviews by management. My final word of advice? Take the job. But once your 15 months are approaching start looking elsewhere. Since you’ll have the title of account manager under your belt, it’ll be easier for you to find other roles with much higher pay and much better culture.

Pluspunten

- Ability to work remotely still, however I am not sure how long that will last for me. They are pushing people back into the office. Autonomy & Independence - Strong ability to self-direct and own responsibilities - Involvement in high-impact work - Broad responsibilities that build transferable skills

Minpunten

- I feel like my role was created without clear definition or long-term planning. I - Needed help with my workload and, despite repeated requests over the past year, I still haven't received any help - Increasing responsibilities without proportional salary growth - Bonus structure adjusted to be more difficult to achieve - Multiple internal teams laid off. Work transitioned to outsourced teams with lower perceived quality - Reduced sense of ownership and care from external/outsourced teams - Movement away from autonomy toward increased oversight - Reduced trust compared to earlier experience - Meeting Overload (“Meeting Fatigue”) - Uncertainty About Future State - Concerns around remote work longevity - Lack of clarity on role growth, support, and company direction
