Pluspunten
Although I would not recommend this place to anyone, there are a few pros. Mostly the people. It's a very social office and you'll get to work with some great people. There's genuine connection between peers and not forced through office activities. The hybrid schedule is also very nice and management won't give you any trouble about taking advantage of the unlimited PTO.
Minpunten
This is an old-school turn and burn sales organization. The goal is to hire as many folks as they can, give them unproven accounts and random contacts and hope something sticks to grow the overall business. There is very little strategizing or tools to help. They do not know how to target specific users and will offer no other strategy than calling a prospect until they answer or they block you. They will tell you during the interview process that you are walking into "established accounts" with great opportunity to make an impact early. I don't think I spoke to a single client that knew who or what Apex was before they spoke with me. In office management hasn't done the job since Apex has transitioned from only staffing to full service consulting and that leads to a disconnect on what works and what doesn't. It took me probably 3 months to understand what exactly I was supposed to be selling. This was the result of mixed messaging from corporate training v in office training. They will also tell you that hitting the commission number needed to cover your salary when your lock drops is no big deal. I was told that no one has issues covering their lock after the one year period is up. The truth is, there are multiple reps that have been there 2+ years and still have not covered the 20k salary decrease that occurs after year one. Ultimately, management either intentionally lies about the health of accounts, or they are extremely out of touch with the current market.
