Staff room has damp and mould. Multiple fridges in the kitchen are broken and have been for months with no repairs.
HR are incapable of dealing with complaints and investigations about staff and cannot communicate anything, leaving multiple staff feeling anxious to the point where I had to quit my job at the company and have received no support from head office or from managers during and after the investigation.
Some managers are incapable and will hide when its busy.
Constantly understaffed (in the name of saving money) many FOH people closing will not finish on time (later than 00:00)
'Blue Shifts' and lack of notice of shifts, with shifts being cancelled the day of, or receiving shifts for that week on the Monday with no notice to change or reschedule plans, or get shamed for already having something organised and having a blue shift activated or finding out you have a shift 3 days before.
Toxic work environment with misogyny, transphobia and racism which is enabled and when brought up to HR they will say they are investigating but do not communicate anything to anyone even management leaving everyone to suffer and it feels like no one cares about staff or their wellbeing.
Lack of organisation and passive aggressive messages on group chats
Never get actual breaks (which are legally required for shifts more than 6 hours) Having to listen to coworkers make misogynistic and transphobic remarks about other coworkers is not acceptable
