Pluspunten
Mostly remote: only 1-2 days commuting.
Many talented and supportive engineers on the team.
Minpunten
Compensation issues: I was lowballed during the interview with the promise of future salary adjustments that never came. Even after getting officially promoted to the next grade, there was no corresponding salary increase.
Misaligned expectations: The company hires aggressively but does not invest in the existing team. Salaries remain below market, and raises are difficult (they will always find excuses not to raise your salary).
Chaotic management: Roadmaps and priorities change constantly. You set goals for the half-year evaluation, but they become irrelevant within a month due to shifting epics - which leads to unfair evaluations (which is not clear or structured anyhow anyway, just castle in the sky)
Unbalanced spending: The company spends heavily on gatherings and non-essential activities, while being extremely conservative about salary growth.
Company mindset is discouraging: HR seems to believe that “the right people will stay,” but in practice this results in losing great engineers while retaining those willing to accept poor treatment. And one of their cultural principles "go above and beyond" not being rewarded anyhow. So just ignore the principles, they not following them anyway,
No proper product or roadmap: roadmap keep changing all the time. Most of the products are simple wrappers over llm. I still do not understand how they are "solving society problems using AI" cause products not solving any problems, rather they provide services for their customers as consultancy.
