Pluspunten
The culture was great, I really enjoyed working with everyone there. The CEO was smart and genuinely a nice person. The head of sales really cared about us and made sure we had what we needed to be successful. Support was incredible and helped to save a lot deals that would have otherwise gone sideways, the executive team was also very responsive when it came to serving the customer. I have a lot of fond memories of working there but there were downsides as there is with any startup.
Minpunten
I would say they missed the mark right from the start as far the product. The product would have been great had they started the company 5 years earlier but by the time they launched the first iteration of the OneBlox, the market had already adopted high performance storage appliances with certain standardized feature sets and certain hardware requirements, all of which Exablox lacked (at first but later realized their mistakes - too late). Product Management seemed like it didn't even perform basic market research before launching a product. Most customers only stayed with us because the sales and support teams provided a high level of service.
