There was a clear lack of leadership and direction from senior management, yet the responsibility was often unfairly pushed onto their teams and subordinates. It became evident that scapegoating was a common practice within the company culture. After I left, I fully realised how much of a 'boys club' existed at the senior level. If you didn’t align with their inner circle or fit their preferred mold, they made your experience unnecessarily challenging. I watched this happen over and over again. I hope it has changed since I left.
